Concerning the FY 2022 – 2023 Annual Budget
The Mayor and Council and Finance Committee of the Town of Elsmere will hold a Public Hearing concerning the Town’s 2022 – 2023 Operating, Revenue and Capital Improvement Budgets. The Public Hearing will be held at the Elsmere Town Hall located at # 11 Poplar Avenue, on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in conjunction with the regular monthly Council meeting and will begin at 5:00 pm. Copies of the proposed budgets are available for inspection by the public at the Town Hall and on the Town’s website. Town Hall is open between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays. The agenda for this meeting will be posted no later than Thursday, June 2, 2022.
After hearing testimony and having their questions answered it is anticipated that the Mayor and Council will set the property tax rate for the 2022 – 2023 Fiscal Year and adopt the Town’s FY 2022 – 2023 Operating, Revenue and Capital Improvement Budgets, as well as, determining if the New Castle County Property Assessment Roles should be used for Town purposes.
