The Mayor, Council and Staff of the Town of Elsmere would like to welcome all of the new residents to the Town and provide you with some helpful information.
In conjunction with Republic Services, the Town of Elsmere provides weekly garbage, yard waste and recycling to all residents. Trash is collected on Thursdays and Recycling and Yard Waste is collected on Fridays all in separate containers. The Town of Elsmere does provide a Recycle Container (Blue with Yellow Lid), Trash Container (Blue with Black Lid) and Yard Waste Container (Blue with Brown Lid) to every property, should you not have a container at your property please contact Republic Services Customer Service number at 302-658-4097.
The Town is proud to host several community events throughout the year such as an annual community yard sale, Town Wide Clean-up Day, Movies in the Parks, Fall Festival, Halloween Spooktacular, Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Annual Holiday Parade (hosted by the Elsmere Fire Company).
